QA Engineer
San Francisco, CA
Passionate QA Engineer is sought after to work as part of a team to deliver the world-class brand protection solutions to over 50 Fortune 100 companies. This position will report to the Director of Service Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development, execution, and communication of the entire project lifecycle, including schedule and resource allocation (onshore and offshore), test plan, test script, progress and issue reports.
- Actively and effectively participate in Product Requirement Document (PRD) review meeting.
- Participate in testing front-end and back-end as required.
- Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and arrange necessary knowledge transfers to assure project deliverables and timelines.
- Provide leadership and mentoring in owned domain.
Skills/Qualifications
- At least 4 years of working experience as a QA engineer.
- Experience in developing test schedule, test plan, test script.
- Ability to multi-task, adapt and operate in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle. Strong QA methodology, process and leadership.
- Experience working with Apache Tomcat application server.
- Experience working with database (MSSQL, MySQL). Must be able to understand and write SQL queries.
- Good understanding of web technologies (web server, application server, load balancer, database, browser, http and https protocols, etc.)
- Possess willingness to learn the application architecture to support more effective testing.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Must be a self-starter, a self-motivator, and a team player. Must possess a "can do" attitude.
