Fraud Analyst
Maryland
Mark Monitor, a global leader in enterprise brand protection, is seeking a Fraud Analyst for their Maryland office. As a Fraud Analyst, you will be directly involved in detecting Internet crime, identifying fraudulent activity and taking actions to prohibit these types of activities.
Essential Duties Include:
- Identifying and analyzing fraudulent web sites
- Contacting Internet Service Provider staffs worldwide to prompt immediate action to end network abuse and remove criminal web sites
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve team objectives and manage projects
- Communicating with customers to provide informational updates and deliver exceptional service quality
Requirements:
- Conscientious attitude and dependability
- Detail oriented, self starter
- Familiarity and comfort with DNS, ISPs, Registrars and IP addressing
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Fluency in foreign languages a big plus
- Knowledge of HTML, Java script and PHP would be a bonus
